Then he messages me in Yahoo while I'm at work to inform me of GEN and their alliance. I figured that he might come up with a couple of new hopefuls.at most. Just a couple of months ago, I sent Sam (Arjuna Karna) out on a recruiting trip to try to increase our numbers. As not to leave anyone out, I don't want to mention names, but I love all of the members of KNR.we're like a family. Just having a lot of members in the guild wasn't nearly as satisfying as the handful of quality members we have now. Like the old saying goes."Quality over quantity". We took our time and recruited QUALITY members. Looking back, I'm so happy for that decision. It was time to start over.Īfter about 8 months of playing GW, we were right back where we were at the beginning. I made an extremely harsh decision and removed everyone but Chris from the guild. Not a good situation to promote guild unity. All of the sudden, it seemed like we just had a bunch of immature freeloaders in the guild and no one really wanted to help each other out. Our guild was starting to grow very rapidly.
Chris had a couple of friends who were playing different games at the time and convinced them to come to GW. We originally started this guild with just the two of us and were looking for new members to add to the ranks. I love this guild and all of its members. Sometimes it just seems that we'll just never make this guild what we want it to be. KNR has had some hard times in the past, but I've done my best to keep it on its feet and keep its head above water. Guild Wars was the best thing that could have happened for us. I convinced Chris to pre-order GW along with me so we could try to find a new gaming home. Diablo II was getting kind of boring as we were doing the same thing over and over again. Chris (Tyreals Mentor) and I used to play Diablo II together and when I read about GW in the February 2005 Issue of Computer Gaming World, I thought we should really try it out.
